Attorney Tom Allen will present case studies exploring the small details found hidden in the expert’s deposition and converting those into impeachment gold at trial.


Mr. Allen has had broad experience in virtually all areas of civil law.  For the first seventeen years of his practice, Mr. Allen was a sole practitioner, who handled primarily plaintiffs’ actions. For the last decade and a half, Mr. Allen almost exclusively has focused on representing medical defendants.


Mr Allen has extensive experience representing physicians and other medical persons, as well as medical groups and institutions, in both civil and administrative proceedings. In addition to his qualifications as a trial attorney, Mr. Allen's appellate experience includes several published decisions, including Barragan v. Lopez (2007), which set a standard for the duty of a physician sued in the developing area of wrongful birth/wrongful life.
