ICAP Meeting: Neeraj Gupta - Shoulder and Cervical Spine Injuries

This presentation by orthopaedic surgeon Neeraj Gupta focuses on two separated anatomic areas that can cause similar pain in similar areas, each of which can be elements of whiplash resulting from motor vehicle accidents. The presentation will describe the anatomy of each area, how to distinguish one injury from the other, the signs and symptoms of each, acceptable treatments, the influence of litigation on pain outcomes, and other medical and legal questions related to such injuries.

Neeraj Gupta, MD has obtained diverse training in all aspects of orthopedic surgery at the University of Southern California. He is also dual fellowship trained in orthopedic trauma/joints/reconstructive surgery from Cedar's Sinai Medical Center and in sports medicine from the San Diego Kaiser Sports Medicine Fellowship. His interests outside of medicine include sports and technology. He likes to incorporate the high tech world into his practice to make patient care more efficient with improved outcomes.
